The View from Vienna

Hello,

We did a walking tour of Vienna the first night we got here - nothing too exciting and no really good photos, we had dinner at a traditional Austrian pub and ate traditional Weiner Schnitzel. It was HUGE!

We spend yesterday doing a bike tour of the Wachau Valley wineries, it was overcast but not raining so that was perfect. It was a long day, but nice. The boys went swimming in the Danube River and it was freezing!!!!

Chris and I had the most amazing sushi for dinner last night. One lot was deep fried prawn and spicy mango dressing, and the other was raw salmon, raw tuna and avocado. Much better than the Weiner!

Off to the Zoo today. It's built inside the Royal Palace, and the Empress had the zoo built for her 16 children. Our hostel is across the road from an amazing market, so we're going to get a heap of food from there, and have a picnic in the Palace gardens as well!!!

Off to Salzburg tomorrow.

Love, Meg
