Munich 3

Hi again,

We did a day tour of the Dachau Concentration Camp outside of Munich. It was the first concentration camp that was built, and the one that all other concentration camps were modeled off. The photo of the big open space is where they were made to line up for roll call. The other photo is just to show the sky - we had terrible weather again. It was a really confronting tour, I can’t believe that it was ever acceptable for that to happen. We went into the gas chambers and saw the cremation ovens.

Today we did a bike tour of Munich. Nothing too interesting to report, but it was a good day! We went to this place in the drain/canal thing where they have man-made a lip type thing for people to surf on - it was crazy.
