These two ducks were funny - they kept poking their heads through the bars to sticky beak (!!) and see what action was happening downstairs. 
I wanted to know how come only Gibbo's name appeared on all the winning Silkie Cards!
This Partridge teenager came second.......... 
and so did this teenage black. 
Megan wants a fascinator made from these feathers.....

Tommy's Silkie hen won Class Champion. 
His Indian Game won Large Hard Feather. 
One of Gibbo's wyandotte hens won her class and was Champion Wyandotte but I didn't get any photos of it!We all enjoyed our day..........then headed home to get ready to attend an 18th party. Then we head to Surat tomorrow for, hopefully, the second last weekly visit. No rest for the wicked.

Great show report Mare.
I don't know if I told you but we actually had to cancel our local Marlborough Show which was to be held yesterday. We were just too wet, our grounds are a swamp and I could imagine us pulling trucks out of bogs for days. It was a tough decision to make though, the show is so important for the community, but we're determined to make next year's bigger and better, which it should be as it leads into Beef Week.
Love seeing your reports though, congratulations with the chook results.
