A Quick Run Around

Dear Meg and Drew

Here's the latest pics of some of the four leggers; the others didn't want to be photographed this time. Here's Peppie looking shiny and healthy.

 Mother and daughter sharing secrets.
 And a kiss.
"What's he doin' Mama? Oh never mind him, he's just feedin' those chooks again"
Here's The Princess heading from the goats to the real chooks on my side!!
This is the only surviving Plymouth Rock chicken out of five that hatched. Three inexplicably disappeared from their pen and the other was born too weak to survive. For sure this little one will turn out to be a rooster.
The garden veges have really responded to the recent rain.

The house garden continues to look after itself. The honeysuckle in the palm tree garden is doing it's job - choking out the onion weed.
The weeping mulberry is doing it's usual show - lots of leaves but no fruit.

Half the chinese star jasmine hedge is about to burst into flower..............
and the other half already has.
The honeysuckle on the archway is so thick you can't walk through - and it smells fantastic.
I've let the triangle garden work out for itself what it wants to let grow and where.
