Dear Meg and Drew

Missing you both but loving your contact and stories. Here's a little look at our weekend.

I'm back in the vege garden. The weekend followed a familiar pattern. Mixing feed (with help).

Pulling out the herbs that have grown wild and gone to seed over the winter.

Admiring the lonely tomato on the bush that survived the winter.

And digging up the potatoes that survived the raid by the marauding eu wagyu one cold winter night.

The parsley is the original bush planted in January 2010 when I first started the permaculture garden.
These girls are destined to be my new chook tractors - they're now living inside a round pen in the vege garden. Some of these are sisters of the two little pullets that went to Ali and the boys at mudpiehomer. They spent the morning getting to know each other in a small pen while I prepared their new home.
I took a walk around the garden taking photos for you both. Spring is here.

Nothing much has changed!
