Drew Ran for a Cure

Sunday October 2, 2011. Ottawa, Canada. Drew ran for a cure, in honour of our dear friend, June.

Once again, he made the Ottawa Citizen; the third time since he arrived in Canada.

This is the skype exchange I had with him when I asked how the run went.

Hello

Was good

I’m in the Ottawa Citizen already

I look so funny

I led the race for about 10 seconds for June

Yes that’s right

I lead the CIBC Run for a Cure in Ottawa

It was 0 degrees

Was so tough but I did it for her

I wrote her name down on a piece of paper and stuck it on the “hope” wall I think it was called

And I wore a name tag with her name on it
