Another June Birthday

It was Gibbo's birthday on June 21....we celebrated twice. On the night of the 20th we went to Mary's for dinner with a group of friends. Meg made a cake with an edible transfer of his beloved Roosters team.

 I wasn't feeling so well.

 Chloe the Cat really got into the spirit of things on the morning of the 21st.

 That night we went to Toowoomba to see the family. Desley made Gibbo his favourite dessert - strawberry cheesecake.

 There were special trick candles that kept re-lighting themselves each time they were blown out. After the fifth attempt, they finally died.

We spent the next three days in Brisbane, Gibbo at meetings and me working on the laptop at head office (oh, and spending just a little bit of time in Mary Ryans - but I didn't buy anything except a coffee and a cookie).
