Christmassy Things

Sunday was set aside for Meg and I to really get into the Christmas preparations. She told Gibbo on Saturday night that I was not available for any outside activities at all on Sunday and to not even look sideways at me! (Then he turned up at 7am needing help getting the mower unstuck)! Then Peter sent a text to say he and his friend would be out for coffee. Then Andrew rang and said he'd be out to deliver the sheep.....by the time all those things happened, we didn't start our jobs until 12 noon.....but it was worth being delayed to see my big and my little brother.

We had a list of jobs to achieve and we got through most of them.

There was strawberry jam.

More tomato relish.

Love that oil/onion/curry smell wafting through the kitchen.

There was much crafting - stamping, stencilling and cutting.

Making gingerbread biscuit dough to freeze for later making.

We ran out of time to make the lemon cordial and the shortbread dough. But we had a great time in the kitchen.
