Meg's Creations and announcing MEG'S MACARONS!!

Once again Meg outdid herself with a special cake. She is not afraid to tackle a design of any degree of difficulty and her choice of theme is always appropriate.

Template. She spent hours calculating and measuring to get the dimensions just right. If you knew Meg and were aware of her mathematical skills (or lack thereof) you would understand why it took her hours!!

Transporting the cake and macarons.

Assembling the cake.

The final product. How fantastic does it look? Andrew threw a spanner in the works (spokes) when he walked inside at one stage and helped himself to a handful of strawberries. It was then that he realised they were actually off the cake! I jus loved it and so did everyone else.

Kat had asked during the week if there would be macarons and of course, there was. They disappeared in a flash. They not only taste good, they look so pretty as well.

Now, in exciting news, MEG'S MACARONS has been officially launched. I put a tongue in cheek message on fb asking if anyone would like to place an order with the Macaron Queen and two people said YES - one from the tip of the NT and the other from Barcaldine!!!! Amazing hey!! One is a Christmas order (Meg is already enthusiastically researching ideas) and the other is for the end of this month for a special fund raising function in town here. Congratulations Meg!!
