Not Much Technique...

but a lot of fun. The exchange student crew went skating on the Rideaux Canal in central Ottawa (I think I've got that right). They skated a total of 5km and he can hardly walk now. Next weekend, Margie wants to do 10km. Great exercise. Afterwards, they had a look at the Winter Festival Ice Sculpting display and did some shopping. He has worked out how to get into and out of the city using the public bus system.
