From Canada, With Love

Dear All

On Saturday Margie and I went to the city again to do some shopping and sightseeing in Ottawa.
Highlight of the day: We were walking through a park along the river and we found a squirrel in a tree. Never have we been so excited in our lives. Haha!

We also met some lovely people who were keen to chat and were interested in Australia. I got one girls number (17 years old), the mother and father were very interested in us and wanted to go out for lunch one day. I also got another girls number. Her name was Elizabeth. She's 68 years old.

We continued to walk to Quebec, crossing the border and visiting the Ice Festival there. Was a bit difficult trying to get around as everything was in French but we managed fine. Was a fantastic day :) I have attached some photos. Hope you enjoy.
Love and miss you all!!

He looks like he is having a wonderful time, but he needs some boots...his feet must have been wet and freezing..

We have not had a snowstorm since last week and since this week is vacation, of course we are not going to have one..

What an amazing adventure. Beautiful photos of such a different landscape. You're right, those photos of him with the giant snowball are just gorgeous.
Camera-shy he is not!
