After the soap making and a little rest (an aching ear) I went back outside to move the sprinkler. I'll be sad and glad to leave here - sad because the lawns and gardens look so nice when they're looked after; glad because it's just too big to give it all the time and attention it needs.
I dug up the compost patch and spread it amongst three of the round gardens and made and filled holes for 4 zucchini plants. It looks much neater.
Ready for some spinach.
The mint garden looks a bit fresher; I'll put lettuce in here.
My little helper. She loves coming into the vege garden, smelling the plants and looking for mice in the tarp that covers the oeg chooks.
The compost heap now has all the pulled plants buried, covered by the last remaining lucerne bale.
These are some of the potted plants for the farm garden. The one on the left is from Prue when she was at GF.
This is from the garden here; it gets a pretty bell shaped white flower on it that I think might be poisonous.
The gerbera that Jo gave me for my birthday.
This is the only piece of zygocactus left from Sylvia's plant - Pepper ate the rest of it. I think I can resurrect it.
I finished the day with some of this, followed by slow baked lamb shanks.

You manage to pack a fair amount into a weekend Mare. How is the ear coming along, was the surgery a success? I am working hard to restore some semblance to my vege garden, more inspired now after three inches of rain last week. The gardens are looking lovely at the new farm, when do you plan to move? Was lovely, as always, to see all your photos. Have a great week.
