Meg and I went to the Bunyas last weekend. We took a thermos, a blanket, some snacks, pillows and books......and had a really nice couple of hours up there. I tried to get her to go walking but when she's got her nose buried in a book there's no budging her. I went off and did the 4km short circuit.
This is how I left her when I set off on my walk....head buried in a book, oblivious to anything around her!
This is where I want to own a house one day.
This is how I found her when I got back from my walk....nose still buried in a book - and with a jumper on!
The week flew by. Drew is settling back in, trying to get his body clock back on Australian time. He's spent 12 months with a totally different sleeping and waking pattern so it will take a little while to re-adjust. He has caught up with friends, both at Big Day Out on the Gold Coast last weekend and on Australia Day.
Meg worked from D this week and heads back to Tba tomorrow (we will all head down as young Harry will be christened).
Meg painted her nails to celebrate Aus Day. She has more bottles of nail polish than the Queen.
Gibbo flew to Sydney on Friday for a Council meeting this morning; he arrived back home tonight. Meg and some friends have gone to an engagement party just down the road; Drew is in town playing pool. He's the designated driver tonight so will pick his sister and friends up on the way home. How times change hey?
