40km

I rode yesterday, 40km to Jimbour and back. It was a great ride over with a favourable wind that let me average 25km. It was a different story on the way back; my average dropped considerably! I worked hard in a tough gear against the wind to give my legs a bit of a taste of things to come. The last few kms I just ambled along, enjoying the scenery and the stinkjacks at the quarry hill. I'm always a bit wary around there; hitting a roo or wallaby whilst flying downhill at 45k's an hour wouldn't be pretty.
