Garden Update

Not a lot of new planting has been happening due to the mouse problem. The rest of the garden just keeps ticking over.

Your garden's looking wonderful Mare. I've been thinking of you with the cold weather lingering so long, I'm sure it's absolutely freezing in your neck of the woods.
My garden's ticking along slowly. Potatoes are looking good (planted probably a month too late). I have garlic up, and have just planted another round of broccoli, cauliflower, brussell sprouts (they'll undoubtedly flourish as nobody particularly likes them) after being beaten by pests on the last few attempts. Lettuce are doing well. My great abundance of cherry tomatoes has come to an end after some escapee piglets demolished every tomato and trampled every bush in sight. Undoubtedly they'll come back (the tomatoes, not the pigs), but I was a little peeved with the pig-whisperer in the family.
Your chooks are all beautiful, I enjoyed the photos of them being bathed recently. We've moved into meat chickens, still have my layers of course. The poor old meat chickens are so structurally unsound but do taste wonderful.
Trust Drew to make the Canadian papers. Hard to believe nearly half the year's gone by and I guess Meg is counting sleeps to her grand adventure as well.
Have a good week Mare. Was good to catch up on what you're up to.
