Here is the birthday girl, ready for work. She had to do a country run and spent the day in a small settlement an hour from home.

Chris made fat pancakes; they were great.
The cake itself is inconsequential - in our family it's ALL about the decoration. I asked the lady in the local cake shop to make a few farm animals - and she did a beautiful job!! They were almost too cute to eat. We went out for dinner at the local Chinese restaurant. It's a favourite for celebrations such as this.

How special is that cake. As special as the beautiful girl whose it is I guess. The black & white dogs would be quite a hit here.
