Yesterday we sprayed, weeded, mowed, fertilised and picked up sticks and now have the garden back in some semblance of order. The next big job will be mulching the entire perimeter but that's a job for another day. We all pitched in (except Drew, who had a mountain of school work to deal with and then his regular 2-6 shift in town). Meg and Chris then drove to Twba to see a new movie release. Jamie came for dinner (his fiance is Contiki-ing around Europe) - we had ROAST PORK...........it was delicious. We all met up again later in the evening.
It started raining last night and it's now 9pm Sunday - and it really hasn't stopped raining. All night and all day....it's beautiful on the roof and on the garden. Here's a few random shots from around here today.
This is one of my favourite views, looking down in the general direction of Jimbour. Two days ago there was a blue smoke haze; today, it's grey with rain.
