Gibbo made it home around 9; two full days of meetings and a three hour drive home did him in. His is not a meeting kind of personality, unless it's meeting people; then he's in his element.
Drew rode his bike to the front gate and sat on the rails for some quiet contemplation. A very heavy downpour came out of nowhere! By the time I got to him he was soaking, standing under a tree (isn't that the last place you're supposed to shelter in a storm), clutching his phone and iPod. We laughed all the way home especially about the part when he ran to grab his bike to throw in the back of the car while it was bucketing. We'll get it tomorrow, at least it will be clean. He's having an easy school week. All his assessments finished last week while some poor kids have up to 8 assignments/tests/performances to get through in four days; Friday is a holiday. He got a good result in Biology, a little below par in English and his Jap teacher is sending his folio of work away to moderation as an example of 'A' standard work.
I finished the skirt but I'm not as thrilled with it as I might have liked.
