It was interesting sailing out of Brisbane, passing the industrial docks and watching the unloading of cars and containers and seeing the coal and cottonseed mountains.
I was mesmerised by the pilot boats.
The Gateway looms large - we sailed right under her.

All new cars - drivers take them off then catch a bus back into the hull to bring the next lot down the blue and white gangway.
I was also really captured by the mechanical unloading of containers; it was really quick and very precise.
Look at all those containers!! Thousands of them.
Bye bye Brisbane, see you in a week.
