The sheep arrived Saturday afternoon. After they'd settled a little we tried to bring them up to water (in the concrete tubs you can see in the background, against the fence).
We were doing quite well.......
until Coco, fully recovered from her vet visit, decided to lend a helping hand (paw) by racing between us and the sheep and scaring them half to death.
They headed off back down the paddock to their camp.
On Sunday when we went to try again, we found them at the trough, eating hay and nuts that I'd put out earlier. Smarter than we thought. Later, we went out to run 2 barbs across the top of the fence on one side of the paddock. The sheep were curious and came over.
This is the first photo I got of them head on.
This morning (Tuesday) they were up at the trough again. When I shook the nuts in the container they all came over. Getting quieter.
