Extremes

This weekend we find ourselves in the far north of our country - at Port Douglas. A month ago we were in the far south. We flew in yesterday and were met by the couple who were the original owners of the wagyu herd that the Company bought back in 2006.

We had lunch at a lovely restaurant at Palm Cove then headed on up to PD. Walking into the W's beautiful unit I felt a calm come over me and the stresses I've been feeling over the last few weeks just melted away.

We spent the afternoon having drinks outside the unit, overlooking the beach and ocean, catching up on what's been happening in our lives, mutual friends and the industry.

Last night we had dinner at the PD Yacht Club beside the water and boats.
