Together Again

Meg drove home on Thursday; Drew got a lift to Toowoomba on Friday so Meg and I drove down and picked him up. We swung by Mum's place on the way home and collected her. It's day 3 of the holiday break already; going so quickly. We've been busy; Meg shaved Poofy, his last haircut before the winter weather bites. She also cooked a marble cake and made savoury muffins. We had corn meat and veges last night; Rocky joined us. We played Bananagram, a game that Drew's Canadian family gave him for Christmas. Gibbo lost interest half-way through game 2 because we wouldn't let him use any of the words he was making up. It was a lot of fun and great for the brain.

Today we went to the Bunyas, driving past the new farm to show Mum and to measure the distance to the mountain; only 30km from the front gate. When we got home, Chris was here.

You're never too old for an easter egg hunt; you're also never too old to throw a tantrum when you've only found 2 and your brother has found 5.
