Always so good to catch up Mare.
a) Meg's feta looks amazing, be sure to let us know how it tastes.
b) I'm also a pesto fan and have abundant basil in the garden this year, so will be churning some out for Xmas festivities. In fact, despite the dry, the vege garden's looking quite good at the moment. I've finally learnt to only plant the things we like to eat, no more ridiculous quantities of egg plant and silver beet, even though the pigs always profited from the over-supply. Snow peas are doing well, though not many make it back to the kitchen.
c) Let's hope those sand hills are needed again soon, perhaps they received some of this recent rain?
d) I think Gibbo's looking trimmer than I remembered.
e) Your flower painting is incredible! Such a clever, creative lady! Well done both of you.
Okay ... always lovely to see your neck of the woods ... I'm thinking of blogging again next year to capture Sally's last year of primary school and Sarah's last year of secondary school ... will see how I go. Take care!
