Coffee and Cricket

Meg got home Friday night. Saturday morning she and I went to PandC for coffee/tea. We took some photos outside. Meg took this photo then applied a filter and Instagrammed it. I love this pic of the two of us. I told her she could take a photo of me anytime as long as she used the same filter! Most of my lines have miraculously disappeared!!

After coffee we went to town to the local Telstra shop. Meg organised a new iPhone for me. We also went through the process of applying for ADSL for our home internet. Reception just gets worse and worse and a lot of the time we can't get any at all. ADSL would make a world of difference - 500gb a month; 100mbps download; and a home phone - all for not much more than what we pay now for a crappy internet service. (Interestingly, after going through all that, Meg and I went up to the top of the farm at the water tanks on Sunday night to check on some details about her impending trip; we took the wifi box with us - and had incredible reception, as fast as any I've ever used....so obviously our problem is that our house is situated in a hollow; a black spot as far as Telstra reception is concerned).

After organising all that we ventured over to the cricket grounds where Gibbo's Brisbane team was playing his Dalby team in an Over 40's game. He played for the locals, who ended up winning. Afterwards, we enjoyed some roast pork, beautifully prepared by JR, served with gravy, apple sauce and boiled potatoes with butter and sour cream. It was absolutely fantastic.
