So far in October…..

Well actually, it was late September when we made a quick down and back trip to Brisbane to watch G's beloved Roosters get flogged by the Broncos. From the very first minute it was a disaster and not much changed for the next 79. We left 20 minutes before full-time and were in the car, driving, before the game finished. It was a quiet trip home. Six hours of driving for 60 minutes of football. Gotta love it.

This was before the game started when he was full of hope and optimism. I didn't take many photos after this one.

My brothers came for a quick visit; youngest on the left, oldest on the right.

Every Monday night (if we're around) we drive 100km round trip to a 'local' pub where we have dinner and G plays poker with a great bunch of people. I read, blog or work on my computer. It's become a regular night that we look forward to.

We bought a new lawn mower. G has used it once. I hope not to become too familiar with it's workings, although I'm sure I will!

Spring is here.

The kids came home on the long weekend.

We started cleaning out 'the forest' behind the garage tank.

Meg and Coco spent some quality time together, catching up on the latest trends in sustainable backyarding.

When the effort of swinging oneself became too much, Granny's skills were enlisted.

The potatoes are peeking out the top of their bag already and we've got a long way to go yet!
