We spent most of the week in Bris attending budget and other meetings. Nine of us, ensconced in a room for 3 days, produced some impressive figures that we now have to live up to.
We came home Thursday and worked late at the office; went to our local pub for tea then ended up there again on Friday night after D&J rang and reminded us we hadn't had that Christmas drink we'd promised each other.
We worked outside all day Saturday. The Family Trees are doing well; this is Peter's bamboo.
My Mum's jacaranda is now taller than me; it started off knee high.
Andrew's silver blue gum; I don't know if this is actually it's proper name but it sounds good.
Mate's poinciana; it will need some TLC during the winter months.
They live at the bottom of the lane where the driveway opens up. The kids are going to choose a tree each to plant.
We're still persevering with the norfolk pine; while it's centre remains green we'll leave it struggle on.
A handful of silkie chicks!
We sorted out the boys from the girls.
A partridge bantam wyandotte pullet taking a break.
Partridge and silver pencilled wyandotte cockerels.
My new oeg; handsome and pretty.
The triplets are doing very well.
We made tree guards.
