Windmill Work

With the assistance of an old timer who knows what he's doing, Gibbo and Drew pulled the windmill bore a week ago. We'll put a solar pump down, the same as at the last farm, and finally get water to the concrete tank and trough in the laneway and paddock 11.

 I took these pics when I went up to measure the length of the column a couple of days before the pull. This was the morning after our work Christmas party and G had gumboots on - a combination I didn't think was particularly safe so I went up.
