Happy Easter

Happy Easter! The kids left today; Meg flies out to Turkey tonight, Drew has gone back to Brisbane for mid-semester break. I was sad to see them go; we had fun.

 

Autumn Saturday

It was a beautiful autumn day, my favourite kind.

Little Bo Peep went looking for the sheep....

......and found them.

We went to P&C for breakfast; G's shout.

It Was a Good Friday....

...because my babies came home! Meg drove to Bris to pick Drew up; then they drove to D to pick Granny up; then they came home. This is how we spent the afternoon; in the evening we had a feast of prawns, salmon, garlic calamari, crumbed fish and chips. Peter and Sharon came too.

Barley and the Darts

After the drive around I took G to Quinalow for the cricket breakup. It's REALLY NOT my scene so I left him there and went back a few hours later to collect. On the way home we called in for a drink at the local where we ran into Barley, the resident kelpie. He balances on the window sill and watches the people inside; he likes to play Catch the Dart - so G played with him. Every time a dart flew by, Barley tried to catch it, snapping his teeth loudly in the attempt.
